Our server was extremely attentive and wonderful. The ambiance was amazing (we went on a Saturday night around 8:30), great views of the city. We ordered off the Manny’s menu and the food was great, the seafood tower portions are quite large. Some of the best cocktails (Blue-eyes Betty, Attitude Adjustment, and Hush Money) we’ve had in Minnesota. Those drinks were all unique and delicious. The drink price is a little high compared to other places in the Twin Cities, but we found them to be worth it if you’re into cocktails and trying unique concoctions. Great place for a date night. This place would easily hold its own in Chicago or NYC!

This out of the ordinary speakeasy is an unexpected treat. I think of speakeasies being in clandestine basements off alleys. Although you’ll miss that thrill this gem makes up for it with city views and posh nooks to linger and sip in. The cocktails have prohibition inspired names and are out of this world. The small plates all looked fantastic. We tried the meatballs and I’d highly recommend these. They have a kick. The bartender was friendly and informative. It has a bit of a more glamorous entrance up the art deco styles elevators. I can’t wait to go back.

Great drinks. Excellent staff. The mood was phenomenal. Makes you feel that you are in a room where no one else can hear you even though there are other people there. Will be back in the future! Pictured is the Whiskey Mango Foxtrot. I don't drink whiskey but this massive drink went down easy.

This bar is very cozy with a nice fireplace! They also have couches around which is nice for a group of people. Drinks are very good. I tried food twice and was ok, but later knew by Dylan “a server” that I can order from Manny’s Steakhouse menu, which is also part of the W Hotel (that I was staying in). Manny’s steak was great, and was a huge portion. I liked the service Dylan provided, he was very friendly, nice to offer different options than the digital menu, and very attentive. Definitely a nice place to try!

I'm a huge fan of the prohibition vibe in any bar or "speakeasy". So how can any place compete with a historic building with skyscraper views, art deco vibe, and built months before the great depression? This place oozes history and authenticity. I get it, they have a business to run. But if it were me I would give the bar, furniture, and whole space a makeover that is sympathetic to the history and originality of the woodwork and ceilings. Not a makeover. But it is looking worn out. Still, just being here sipping a drink is so choice. And looking out the window at the great views and thinking, what was it like to be here in 1929 or 1930? By the way the drinks especially the Old Fashioned and bar service was outstanding. I can't wait to come back. It is definitely not cheap though.

Great location for a quiet, intimate date night. Seating is limited which only aids in creating a quiet, personal environment. My wife and I rarely get date nights with our 2 young kids, but even considering the drink prices, it's worth it. We really get to connect here as opposed to a loud traditional bar.
